Extinction

 

Betty was frustrated during extinction. She experienced an extinction burst at the beginning of both days. She also experienced spontaneous recovery on the second day when she was first placed in the operant box on the second day. She even experienced resurgence when she began biting the bar to see if that would reinforce her like she did in the beginning.
